House of Faith Volleyball Tournament

Hello Family!
House of Faith will be hosting a volleyball tournament on November 11th 2023!
Call time for teams is 9:30am.
ALL TEAMS MUST BE PRESENT FOR OPENING CEREMONY!
We are excited to host this tournament to our friends and family. But before you register here are some of the rules!
Team Rules:
Registration will be $125 per team!
Maximum 8 teams. (we will be updating how many teams have registered)
Teams need a minimum of 6 players.
Teams must have (1) female on the court at all times.
Players can not switch to different teams mid-tournament.
If a team is not present and ready to play by (5) minutes after scheduled game time, the 1st set will be a default win for other team. The team ready to play at match time will have choice of serve and side of court to start the 2nd game.
If a team is not present and ready to play by (10) minutes after the original scheduled match time, the entire match will be a forfeit.
All players participating must sign waiver to play.
Tournament group rules:
There will be two groups for teams.
Each team will be guaranteed 3 games. They will play each team from their pool once.
Top 2 teams will advance to playoffs.
1st seeded team from group A will play 2nd seeded team from group B. Winner advances to Final.
1st seeded team from group B will play 2nd seeded team from group A. Winner advances to Final.
In the scenario where teams have same record, we will go based on better point differential.
In group stages, sets 1 & 2 will go up to 21 straight up. Set 3 will go up to 15, win by two but cap at 20.
In playoffs, sets 1 & 2 will go up to 21 points win by two, cap at 25. Set 3 will go up to 15 points win by two.
In Finals, sets 1 & 2 will go up to 25 points win by two. Set 3 will go up to 15 points win by two.
General rules:
Participants in tournament must help with watching lines. Referee has final say!
Please throw your trash if eating inside.
We will not accept any type of trash talk. There will be warnings but if it gets excessive you will have to sit out.
No profanity!
Each game will start with prayer with teams and going through rules with captains.
We will also be selling food! Part of the proceeds will go to the Homeless ministry! We have a heart for our homeless community at El Monte, CA. 1 Saturday out of the month we have a drive to help feed the homeless in our area. Help us by joining the tournament and buying food at the event.

IMPORTANT: Upon completion of this form, you will receive an email with a link to a liability waiver that must be signed by all members of your team. Please be sure these are filled out and signed by all team members prior to check-in on Nov. 11th.
This email will also include information on how you can pay your registration fee, which must be received no later than November 4th, 2023 in order for your registration to be complete.
